Croatia What a beautiful and exciting area to explore. Being here in this region of Croatia can make any never want to return home. So when you are out about exploring, it is important to find some great accommodation. We stayed in a few different types of lodging and would like to help you out in deciding where to stay. The Coast To be able to visit these amazing waterfalls and scenery, you must stay somewhere to enjoy this and not be too far away or be far enough away to have a lovely drive. We recommend staying in Zadar or Split to make a lovely scenic drive to visit Krka National Park and staying at the Autocamp Korana when visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park.  The Island of Hvar If you're planning on staying on the island of Hvar. Get out of the town and travel up the island and stay at Hotel Skalinada. You won't regret it, we promise! They have some of the best Hvar seafood and locally or onsite grown fruit and veg. The owners and worke...

- Gdansk, Poland is a easygoing spectacular eastern European city that many people will not travel to because they have never heard of it. Gdansk is surely a must visit destination if you're planning a trip in this region because it gives such a welcoming vibe! The architecture is unreal--it was even rebuilt exactly how it looked before being destroyed in the war and has the world's largest brick church. The food is extremely flavorful (get your food at the milk bars) and it is cheap too. When visiting this Polish city, we direct you to stay at the Q Hotel Grand Cru GdaƄsk which is near the Motlawa River and of course- a unique rest. You are positioned in a prime location which sets you up to visit all the local attractions! Check out our photos below of Gdansk to gain inspiration to travel to this city on your next city holiday! If you're interested in staying at the same hotel as us and would like to see the same incredible locations that are s...

Prague - The Czech Republic

Image
What isn't there not to love about this city and finding wonderful place to rest while visiting the Czech Republic? There is just something special about this place that no other city we have travelled to in Europe offers. It is so beautiful and unique, but also alludes to the special feel of Paris. You need to come here to experience what we are talking about! Trust us! When choosing a unique place to stay in Prague, we chose to stay on the outskirts a little bit so we could have a much more authentic and cultural feel. And boy are we glad we chose this are. Lovely coffee shops just minutes from our accommodation and a few grocery stores too. We stayed in the neighborhood of Vinohrady & Vrsovice. It was truly magical and we highly recommend anyone traveling here to stay in this neighborhood as it is a nice metro trip in for only pennies on the dollar and it's not too far if you choose to take a walk into the city center. Howev...

Brussels Now when you come to see this city, everything is just a magical olden time feel. All the buildings were built before America was thought of and that just gives a different perspective on cities in general. So we wanted to make sure that we could get this feel when visiting Brussels. One of the best places we found when visiting Brussels was staying in the Saint Cathrine area near the St. Cathrine Cathedral. This area offered beautiful reflection pools, wonderful outdoor terraces to eat and drink at--all while feeling like you were a local and not a tourist. This place is also just a short 10 minute walk from all the main attractions in the city center.

Valencia When staying in Valencia, our recommended locations are as follows city center, a short walk from the science buildings, and near the beach. That way, each of the places allows for great vacationing and site seeing. It just depends on what you want out of your vacation. But that is our top three places for staying in Valencia, Spain.

Sahara Desert

Image
Sahara Desert The only way to stay in a unique and different setting would be to stay in a Berber tent in the Sahara Desert! You will take camels from the town of Merzouga and camel trek for about 2 hours to your accommodations. This will be a tent village in the middle of the desert. You will be served traditional tagine, drink mint tea, and listen to great music. No way will you stay more uniquely than here in the Sahara desert!

Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates

Abu Dhabi This mosque is a must see location for obvious reasons and should be on your bucket list! Check out this mosque. Who wouldn't want to come check this place out on the outside and in? The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the largest in the world, and is home to the largest handmade single piece of carpet in the world. You can go in for a small donation and deposit if you are not wearing clothing that is appropriate for the dress code. It will get toasty! We highly recommend coming to see this place and stay at any location in Abu Dhabi, actually, as taking the local buses are very easy to understand!
