The architecture is unreal--it was even rebuilt exactly how it looked before being destroyed in the war and has the world's largest brick church. The food is extremely flavorful (get your food at the milk bars) and it is cheap too. What isn't there not to love about this city and finding wonderful place to rest while visiting the Czech Republic? There is just something special about this place that no other city we have travelled to in Europe offers. It is so beautiful and unique, but also alludes to the special feel of Paris. You need to come here to experience what we are talking about! Trust us! When choosing a unique place to stay in Prague, we chose to stay on the outskirts a little bit so we could have a much more authentic and cultural feel. And boy are we glad we chose this are. Lovely coffee shops just minutes from our accommodation and a few grocery stores too. We stayed in the neighborhood of Vinohrady & Vrsovice. It was truly magical and we highly recommend anyone traveling here to stay in this neighborhood as it is a nice metro trip in for only pennies on the dollar and it's not too far if you choose to take a walk into the city center.
